Hi to all reinactors
I am a French & Indian War reinactor for the past 30 years so I know how careful most of us are in how we present ourselves to the public. My Dad recently passed away, he was a Korean vet. With his passing in now have in my possession his dress army uniform, medals and other items from his daily life while in the army. I live in Chicago and would like to see if there are any reinactors who would take care of these items if presented to them. You can contact me through this forum.
My Dad kept his dress jacket and pants. The last time these were put on was around 1955, that is my guess. I just want these items to go to a good home where the person will take of these items. These are the real thing, not a copy.
