I was wondering if anyone knew the standard color of fieldgear in Korea used by US forces? I believe the color was mostly dark green, with the exception of a few items which were issued in the khaki color (I think OD3 is the correct term). I'm sure it was common to see a mix-match of colors, but I would think OD7 (dark green) was more common, but I could be wrong. Can anyone comment on this?

OD#7 grows in numbers by 1952. The only big green items that were used left over from WWII would be the E-tools, m1945 pack, M2 jungle pouch etc. But mix and match is very acceptable.

Thanks for the reply, were pistol belts and Garand belts predominately OD#7 as well?

That's what I figured, I just didn't know if the majority of gear during the war was predominately OD#7 or not. Thanks!
