Hello all, first time posting, and I'm really excited to start my Korean War impression! I recently got an Ike jacket made in 1952 and I was wondering what pants went along with it, preferably original. I don't know if there was a specific name for them, but I can't find them anywhere apart from WPG, and they want $85 for a pair of repros.
Thanks!

For the KW Ike, you'd need the M-1952 Wool Serge pants, virtually identical to the WW2 model, except for the zipper fly and (on some) flapped rear pockets. However the WW2 repros (dark shade, not mustard) will work fine. I you go with origs, try to find the version with the on-seam front pockets, not the late-WW2 version with the openings tilted slightly fwd from the top. But keep in mind the bewildering amt of WW2 items recycled into The Green Machine: I've seen tons of M1944 and M1946 Ikes dolled up in KW and later insignia. Many guys were "retreads" from WW2, so there's no hard/fast rule to this, except likely at conflict's end. Here's another tip - the earlier Ikes had button cuffs, the M1950, straight sleeve cuffs and button side adjustments, not the earlier tongue and buckle.
