Hi, I'm new to the Korean scene, I do WWII 517th PRCT and 2nd armored 41st reg living history. I'm looking for info about Korean women during the war info on if they were recruited to be nurses and stuff in the ROK army and also with the US forces. My wife is Korean and had served in the USMC for 8 years and I was trying to find a place for her to come out with me to living history events. I'm planning on putting togehter a KW display that shows all the services. Just looking for some info on uniforms and gear I would need to find for her. Any info would be a great help.

I know that most european contingents brought small numbers of women to Korea as nurses and cooks, so I assume there were ROK nurses etc., other than that, I can't really help you I'm afraid.
I suggest you contact a Korean Museum as the only possible other source I can think of...
