Would the M1952A flack jacket or any of the other Army type flack jackets have been used by any Marine units in Korea?
I have a line on an M1952A vest, and have had absolutely no luck in finding a USMC M1951 or 1952 vest. If the M1952A vests were used by Marines at all, this might work until I can find the better choices for my impression.

As far as I know, there was only one model flak jacket issued; everyone wore the same type. It's also my understanding that the USMC was strict about wearing them, and the Army wasn't.

I believe that clancey is correct. at that time there was only one model being used. Not all USMC units had them either. I do know that the Division Recon Company were issued them as an "experiment" then after the the winter of '50, more units started getting them.
