From the little I know of this period I am under the impression that the British Army had gone from the "Cap Ridiculous" to blue berets. Did the ToS also go from being khaki to blue?

Tam O' Shanter remained Khaki and large. The later, slightly smaller one came into use in the early 1960's.

Thanks, it does. So depending on which 1950's Scottish Home Guard I do I can either keep my WWII ToS or go get a Glengarry.
