What kit - uniforms and webbing was used by the Belgian Brigade in Korea? Had the Belgian Denison-like with the full zip smock been issued or was that later. Was the shelter half in the same camouflage as the smock been issued? and which helmet type was used?
Sooo many questions!
Thanks

From what little I know, it was a mixed battalion of Belgians and luxemburgers...attached to the US 3rd Iinfantry Div. Since it was a smaller sized unit, I would suspect their care and maintenance was seen to by the 3rd Div., so they probably were issued and wore what the 3rd Division wore. I could be wrong on that, but I've seen pics of the Turkish unit and they look like GI's.

I think they only had US helmets and webbing. I found this link for photos. They mostly seem to be wearing the denison smock thing. What are they wearing underneath? Battledress?

It seems that the Belgians used 3/4 zip (not whole zip) denison smocks in 'Moon and Balls' Camouflage scheme (I have got a '53 dated one which seems to look like those in the the photos). They used US webbing (without the harnesses?) in the field or a belgian produced copy of the brit '37 pattern belt on parade. They used a domestically produced copy of the US M1 helmet. Underneath they wore US or British shirts and 49 pattern battledress trousers. It seems that the Luxembourg contingent had US boots. They also wore an extra badge on their berets. They used british weapons (enfield/bren) and US grenades. They had at least 1 MB jeep.
EDIT: 2 types of battledress were used with insig. - standard 49 pattern (british made?) or a strange belgian type with a pointy collar.
If anyone can add/correct anything to the above please contact me!
