Canadian uniform

hello,

I cannot post a pic but on page 6 of osprey UN forces 48-94 shows some Canadian troops waiting to go into Korea. it looks as if they have jungle KD uniforms and a mix of web gear some with blanco and some out. Also looks as if there are a mix of puttees and gaiters, can anyone help on this? Are the berets in the photo Canadian issue or UN? Does anyone know the unit pictured?

I don't have the issue you refer to. It is possible that in Korea, it was either hot as heck or freezing bloody cold ? I imagine the illustrators impression is early war, they went with what ever was on their backs when they got orders to deploy and until proper issues caught up, then the RSM got everyone in uniform.

My question is insignia on BDs. Was it not much at all or just the "Commonwealth Forces" patch I have seen ?
