I have a couple of uniforms that I think are from the Korean war but not positive. I am looking for information about them along with a value of them should I sell them. One of them has something on it (stain) but I think most of it would come off if done right. I am leaving it alone and letting someone else do it. Thanks for any and all help. Below is a link to the pictures of the uniforms. s169.photobucket.com/albums/u211/thestonesaver/uniform/

Hi, the long four pocket coat seems to be a W.W.2 U.S. Army enlisted mans pattern wool service coat. www.olive-drab.com/od_soldiers_clothing_ww2_coats_woolserge_od.phpThe short jacket and pants are late W.W.2, commonly known as an 'Ike' jacket. www.olive-drab.com/od_soldiers_clothing_combat_ww2_jacket_ike.phpThe 'O.D.33' type replaced the original O.D. version, and there was at least one more pattern change between W.W.2 and Korea I think. Though 'O.D.33' uniforms could well have still been in circulation as I think I have some with Korean War service insignia/ribbons. Have a look in the pockets of both jackets and you may still find the original labels. Also the stains on the Ike jacket may come out, I'd recommend taking it to a good dry-cleaners and let them have a look at it. It's worth turning the jackets inside out aswell as you may see evidence of unit, rank and awards being on them at some point, stitch or puncture holes through the lining etc. can be quite easy to see if items haven't been cleaned since having badges removed. Hope this helps.
