hi, this is my first post on here so here goes i currently portray an RAMC medical officer from ww1 upto the falklands conflict and i am currently putting together a korean battledress uniform and small kit for events. now i currently have: 37 patt BD Officers set of 44 pattern webbing shirt tie etc sd cap canvas 37 patt gaiters boots medical bags etc {empty} now i was wondering...... would i have worn brown boots or black boots? would anyone have a picture of the badge layout on a korean war british officers battledress jacket both left and right sides now i have 1 commonwealth shield {kc} 1 small union jack badge and one 29th Infantry Brigade (Post War), a cherry red backed kings crown shoulder rank. but i lack confirmation on how the above were worn {rank crowns obvious} someone stated i have one commonwealth badge one side with a union jack below the shoulder title and the 29th badge on the other arm with no union jack just a shoulder title yet all reference i have found indicate the commonwealth badge worn on both arms no divisional badge or union jack so please which is correct and anyone have a photo of an original badge layout on both sides of the bd jacket. does anyone know what a patroling m.o would have in his medical bags at the time? also am currently in need of a 44 pattern water bottle {got a screwtop } so suggestions welcome on a source is there any korean events/living history groups here in the u.k i could join? lest we forget........ regards nick
