I've been trolling around the internet looking for information on tents during the Korean War and have not found much useful information. So far, from what I've been able to tell, after WW2 there was a 1945 pattern command tent, a mess tent, two different sizes of arctic hex tents. I also found reference to a massive 1942 pattern assembly tent (holds 80 people).
Now, I know that in theory, each company, battalion and regiment would have a certain amount of tents assigned to them, however I have not found any information on what kind, and how many, and for whom.
Anyone have any ideas?

hmm.... I have a 1945 staff officers manual, I know it lists vehicle and weapons allotments for different size units, I'll see if it has tentage listed. I doubt it, but it's worth a shot.
It's bound to be on the TO&E. I've found the numbers for the Korean War Infantry unit TO&E's but I can't manage to find any anywhere. If anyone else is good at this stuff, the numbers are:
7-15N Infantry battalion. 15 Nov 1950 7-17 Infantry Rifle Company. 15 May 1952 7-17N Infantry Rifle Company. 09 Dec 1947 7-18 Infantry Heavy Weapons Company, 15 May 1952 7-18N Infantry Heavy Weapons Company, 30 Dec 1947
I don't know why "17N" comes before "17" and so on. but I know the date for 7-17N is correct.

I checked my Staff Officers manual, all it lists is vehicles, weapons and personel. I guess you'd need the actual TO&E.

Finding Korean War TO&Es has been like finding hens teeth.
