I believe the Osprey book on Korea has a plate showing the Dutch uniform. I remember getting into British WW2 reenacting and many Dutch items of the period were quite similar to British, the local military store always had a lot of Dutch stuff, some of it was close enough for reenacting. They were with 2nd ID so I'm sure they had access to US gear as well. The Ospery book migt be a good place to start.

Sorry to necropost, but I have found a pic of one of the uniforms Woodard talks of. It is odd there is so little stuff on the Dutch compared to other UN forces. Attachments:

after 9 months of combat, the dutch were allowed to wear the indian-head patch on there left sleeve, they also wear an UN patch on there right sleeve, but i dont know when they were introduced. i dont know much about the goning out dress but i belief they wear the dutch uniform ( British battledress) just like the pic you postet before

When the dutch got leave for tokyo they were issued ike jackets from the americans they were to return them afterwards. the british battle dress was onley worn in the very beginning and in the summer of the first year they were replaced by the us uniform. the first commander of the dutch worn his always also after that. He died wearing the jacket and there is a picture of that jacket. the united nations shield was not worn in combat but on the "binnen gevechts pak" i guess that is the wool.
