Here are a few surplus stores I know that have KW era
items for sale:
"Go Surplus" 1-800-653-8528 ask for Eddie (in Billings, Montana) has some excellent items, but a tad pricey:
M1949 Artic Sleeping Bags- $50
M1947 Parka w/ pile liner- $200 (good sizes, fits up to 48"chest)
and other various KW era items; slings, MQ-1 caps, etc...
and
"Lynchburg Military Surplus" right here in my hometown (VA) has
a few items;
M1951 Pants/Trousers in unissued condition in both the cotton/ summer weight trousers and a few wool ones, all are stamped "extra large" in the waistband for any of you big guys! They only want $17 or $18 for a pair. Unfortunately I don't think they ship out it's a small mom & pop shop that caters to local hunters, I'm more than willing to pick up a pair or two and deliver to the tactical in Feb. e-mail Patrick Hubble at mortician88@hotmail.com
