Just for fun, I'm going to be working on a new project slowly: post armistice impression. Circa 1954 or 1955.
Essentially, an excuse to take Korean War items and put name tapes and black and gold U.S. Army tapes on them. Likely a set of WW2 HBTs with them, M1951 field jacket, and I have acquired an M1951 parka that has a black and gold name tape original to it.
Really, just for kicks. Will post pictures as it develops.

Look forward to seeing it. Will be doing one myself, OG-107's or maybe even wools with name tape and 'U.S. ARMY', Ridgeway cap and Russet boots, maybe a nice coloured ascot.

I have the ridgeway on the way, the russet boots and I have an infantry blue ascot. I want to get a set of OG-107s eventually, but I think for starters my fatigues will be WW2 or Korean War era HBTs. I've seen WW2 era fatigues with black and gold tapes fairly often, probably pick up an original for the collection. I've even seen a few 1st pattern WW2 HBTs with black and gold tapes on them. That's what I like the era...because its in transition. I think I've seen 1951 wools with black and gold tapes as well.
