I got my Hong Kong Kieth Nationalist Chinese cap, a few minutes with a needle and thread should make it into a fine KPA cap. No cap badge, I'm looking for good collections of pics to see if they always had them.

Even the seller claims that it's probably 1970's or 80's issue, too bad the size is so small I'd consider bidding on it. It is interesting, you just hardly ever see any DPRK military surplus anywhere, even if it is relatively modern. Patrick Hubble

Yea, caps like that usually go for $100+. I'd say its real just based on the size, who fakes stuff nobody can wear and then sells for that price?
I think the red piping is an officer thing, it's not on all of them.

Thats true, if your gonna fake something, fake something someone can actually wear!

It appears to be an officer cap. I just finished watching Tae Guk Gi, and the NK officers are wearing caps with red trim...down to the slightly diagonal angle. Good pics on ebay...I always wondered about the shape of the visor/bill on these.
