This book is an incredible resource on Chinese uniforms and insignia, I'm already looking for a copy for sale. The people's volunteers summer and winter uniform. The patch says "Chinese People's Volunteers", several places sell these but you almost never see them worn on combat uniforms in pics. After the cease fire they became mandatory as part of the agreement, for the same reason the yellow on black "US ARMY" nametapes were mandated. The People's Liberation Army uniforms of the time. Notice that they have cap badges while troops in Korea do not. This was a big deal to the Chinese. Also note that the PLA shirts only button halfway down and basically look like Soviet M36 shirts. I have some group photos that show these being worn in Korea as well.

Cool stuff Bren, those are some nifty prints, the Chinese uniform was rather simplistic and utilitarian. Keep em' coming are there any other color prints like that in the book? I seem to be Proboard illiterate, I can't get my photo's to post on here for what ever reason... Patrick Hubble
