YOUCHUNHE on ebay now has the Chinese Type 50 uniforms and caps available at pretty reasonable prices.

I've seen those Type 50's, but the color looks off, from what I have read about it-not light enough for 'khaki' ?

Hmmm...think Russian colored "khaki" not the tan color of WWII Army cotton summer uniforms ... I've seen color pics from the Chinese museum showing a range of brownish "khaki". A Marine vet of the Chosin campaign said the Chinese he saw were wearing gray. So, I think getting picky about the "correct" shade of khaki is going a little overboard. Matter of fact my original Chinese postwar tunic was an exact color match for the WWII USMC wool shirt.

I am not sure whether it is worth using the Chinese war museum as a verbatim source. If it is like the National War Museum in Seoul (or many other similar museums in S-E Asia), very little of their material actually dates to the war, let alone was actually used there.
I agree though that there must have been tonnes of variation in uniforms, and indeed every authentic uniform I've ever seen in museums in the West has been pretty similar in tone.

It's amazing how very little of these uniforms can be found along with the information. I guess that's why it is hard to nail what was a correct uniform :/

What is the difference in the type 50 that is being sold and Hikis KMT uniform? Both look the same?

Looks like the bottom pockets on the KMT uniform are "bellows" type and CCF is just a patch pocket.
Also, on ebay now they are offering the khaki color tennis shoes.

May know someone who might be able to make the winter fur caps and those that have the cloth visor.
