I am on the Board of Directors for the Reclaiming our Heritage event in Milaukee held on the grounds of the Zablocki VA Hospital. Each year, the weekend after Memorial Day we host a massive reenactment event. See the web site at www.forohmilwaukee.org/ for more info. I have been the sole Korean War reenactor and encampment at the event, and we are in need of more Korean War reenactors to participate. Again, the next event will not be until next year, but we are putting out the call now, in hopes of getting this important part of Americas history better represented. This is a large event with 15,000 and up visitors, and it is specially tailored to honor and pay tribute to the veterans. You can also see a short video of last years event here www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lz3XM0Pd30If you have any questions or can point out some history folks who are able to participate, just shoot me an email

Hi Mate, just watched the video and was really impressed and it certainly looked like a great show you all put on, Respect. Just a question in the film there is a lady been presented the folded stars and stripes flag by a US Marine, had she lost someone in the forces? do you know the story of what happened?. regards John.

It looked to me like a demonstration... part of the reenactment weekend. But to answer your question, yes, that's how we conclude a funeral with military rites here in the States.
