Here all is the letter from Gena in Texas.

Dear Living History Groups:
The Commemorative Air Force is once again busily preparing for this year’s annual CAF AIRSHO. The “Ghost Squadron” takes to the sky October 9 & 10, 2010 above Midland International Airport. The Best Warbird Show in America is a tribute to the great airplanes that were flown in the defense of our Nation and the sacrifices that were made by those who served.
We would very much like to invite World War I, II, Korean and Vietnam Living History Groups to join us at AIRSHO and be a part of this historic weekend. We have large areas reserved for setting up encampments, as well as displaying military vehicles.
CAF AIRSHO 2010 will recreate battles of WWII as well as Vietnam. The U.S. Air Force F-15 Strike Eagle Demo Team will be featured along with fly-bys from the B-1B Bomber and F-16. We are also pleased to include the talents of Matt Younkin in the Beech 18, Bob Carlton in the Super Salto jet sailplane, and Kyle and Amanda Franklin in Pirated Skies. The CAF’s own B-29 Superfortress FIFI, will finally return to the sky after a lengthy restoration. For the second year, we are inviting 6th grade students from around the area to a free Jr. Aces Show on Friday, to coincide with the Special Show for Special People. Saturday after the show, you’ll want to join the festivities in AIRSHO Square as you enjoy the sounds and excitement of a USO-style show complete with live entertainment. The evening will then conclude with the night flying of Matt Younkin and Bob Carlton. As always, the O’Club doors in the Gunfighter Pub are open, inviting you to partake in refreshment, relaxation and great camaraderie.
I hope we can include your Living History Group in the 2010 CAF AIRSHO, as together we bring history to life for the thousands of spectators that come to the show. Please feel free to contact me by phone or email with any questions and to work out the details.
Sincerely,
Gena Linebarger
