M-1951 Wool Trousers

Here's the question:

Did the USMC make wool field trousrs in the "forrest green" or were all the M-51 wool tousers the same (olive) color???

I'm asking because a vet said they were "Marine Corps green". He arrived in country in late '51.

Any info would be greatly appreciated !!

The only Marine Green trousers I know of are the ones that come with the Service uniform (Dress greens). I wonder if they wouldn't be those?

On a side note, I remember wearing my M-51 trousers at Lejeune, I had to stop because people always thought they were my Alpha trousers and it wasn't worth explaining everywhere I went.

Navy Corpsman Dick Payne has advised me they were in fact the forrest green wool "dress greens" uniform trousers. Another small mystery solved: Thanks Doc !!
