Thanks guys.
On a more serious note, I can understand why it annoys you when your genuine interest with your army's/country's history is hijacked to the point where you are out priced on buying the gear
I personally find the phenomenon of youths in the 60's stumbling on these coats and making them an integral part of their scene very intriguing. Just imagine how many must have been snapped up back then, mathere must still be hundreds packed away in UK attics!
Anyway guy's I don't want to trespass on your site too long!
I don't suppose someone could run their eyes over some of these? I would appreciate the benefit of your experience.
The first one doesn't look like a parka to me. It actually looks like a coat worn by an officer in the Stanton book I found on Google.
Any idea's what it is?
