I was just wondering what everyones age is that reenacts KW, WWII, etc. I have done CW where ages ran the scale young to old. It seems like you might have to have a decent job to pay for the toys you will need to reenact but then again you need to be young enough to play the game, get away for the weekend, etc. Just out of curiousity, how old are you? Also, what do you guys consider too old to play? I will signify after I see the answers to question #2. ;D

I'm 26... not any Korean War reenacting going on in Texas that I'm aware of, but when it starts, I'll be one of the first on board! I've got a complete US Infantry kit, as well as a complete Chinese PVA kit...

Here is my take , I started reenacting doing buckskinning, then went to French& Indian , all by the time I was 25, got into living history Civil War for 20 yrs. Have done CW from pvt to captain of my own unit for 12 yrs. I am not a $ man, just a poor farmer, that love history and reenacting. One must have some good health for sure , but this is a hobby not the real army. Now for the real question , I am 59 yrs old , and can hang in there with the younger guys for as long as I need or want to. Don't count us older guys out we all are not as young as we used to be but we do like having fun with you , younger guys. By the way US Army Vet 1972-1978 grunt, M60 gunner. In later yrs dang good Mess Sgt,lol

'Aight hawk, you got me by a few years but I guess I am not assamed now to say I am 53. Like you I am pretty well preserved for my age and can hold my own with the youngsters when I have to. ;D

No worries guys, I've done plenty of events where the older guys left me in the DUST... its all about staying in shape (I don't, and they do!). I'm 6 foot 165 lbs, so pretty skinny... you'd think I'd be able to keep up, but a life time of hitting the ground running keeps them two steps ahead of me!

Just turned 50. I think anyone could "reenact" just about any period as long as one was not incredibly out of shape physically. Attitude is 95% of reenacting. If one was looking rather "old & gray" one could alter that to portray a young fighting GI or Tommie. I don't know about the Chi-Comms, they probably had mandatory conscription.
No 2- Bulldog, Perhaps 60 is too old to portray a young infantryman.
