Hey guys anyone have any links to people/vendors selling or specializing post Korean War Chi-com equipment? I do NVA for Vietnam so that stuff is always handy. Seems lots of people specializing in Ruskie/East bloc still, but only a few wiht Chi-Com.
I'm also looking for those Chinese backpack radios that were for sale awhile back in bulk.
Thanks! BradLaGrange

I can't think of anywhere that "specializes" in any Chinese gear, It's still a matter of finding bits and pieces here and there. Honk Kong Kieth made some stuff a while ago, but he has a tendency to sell out and not re-stock (I may have heard that his Chinese stuff was made for a movie?). Anything specific you're looking for other than the radios?

Woodard.... Oh, always looking for webgear other than SKS/AK rigs and grenade pouches(those are still everywhere). Things like field phones, canteens (in bulk, maybe 10 units), odd ball pouches, etc.
Are those CHinese shoes that were linked to on here low quarters or ankle boots? if they are Ankle they looked like they would work for NVA----BTW, any sources for NVA shoes outside of Thenamshop or Sampans?

The shoes linked on here are low tops, but they are PLA issue and from the sources I have are correct for the period. Miltech is now making cheap knockoffs of the French Patugas and selling them on sportsmansguide, but the soles are a little heavy to pass as Chicom. If it's any help Omaha's has Nam dated Chinese haversacks for $20. The place that used to have the deal on canteens seems to be out.
Our Surplus store used to have ripped up duck hunter canopies for sale, I'll try and run by next week and check.
I don't really wanna get into a Vietnam discussion on the Korean war forum, You still on the Vietnam forum? I haven't been on there in ages...

Sure thing we can move the discussion---just shoot me an email at ringneck@psci.net
That'd be GREAT if you could check on those canopies. We need to make NVA "Superman" capes for them.
Looks like sportsmans guide is down to size 7 tan Miltech boots only. Wonder how to contact Miltech directly to find another vendor? Boots in big sizes are about the only thing NVA my guys can't find.
