I know during WW2 Army enlisted men wore the Khaki trouser belt with an openface buckle and I heard that at some postwar time Enlisted started wearing the closedface brass buckle. When did the change happen? I know for 50s dress uniforms they used the closedface buckle but what about for field uniforms?
